On our guided E-Bike Tours across Perthshire all you have to do is pedal and enjoy the ultimate experience!
Highland Bike Tours will be using E-Bikes with a classic Dutch design, that are both stylish and comfortable, and have been manufactured to provide distance and reliability.
For the 2022 season all tours start and finish in Perth City Centre.
EDIT October 2022: We hope to also offer our guided E-Bike Tours that start and finish in Pitlochry for the 2023 season!
When out on one of our tours you will get to see so much more when out on a bike ride!.. from dense woodland and open plains to viewing some of the highest mountain tops in the UK from up close. You will also cycle past ruined castles and ancient distilleries, while seeing rare wildlife and stunning scenery here in Perthshire. Why not join us for a spot of adventure, while breathing in all that fresh air!
All Tours also available in the Dutch language.
Dutch language update:
Topkwaliteit fietsen dus! – voor meer info in Nederlands: https://www.highlandbiketours....
EDIT September 2023: During the summer of 2023 we began operating from 2 separate hubs (one in Perth, one in Pitlochry) as we discovered that very few tourists were actually staying in Perth, while a lot more were basing themselves up in Pitlochry for their visit. This then meant that HBT could offer more of those bike tours that cover the countryside in Highland Perthshire surrounding Pitlochry, while Perth being more central in this part of Scotland would remain the starting point for the historical & cultural tours.
The Whisky Infused Bike Tours - Depending on the starting point (Perth or Pitlochry) these tours can visit different distilleries in this region. For Pitlochry it is usually bike rides to Edradour, Blair Athol, and Aberfeldy (Dewar's), while Perth would be for tours out to Glenturret, or even up to Blair Athol, along with other options to cycle over to where they make the Old Perth blended Malt whisky, or the Lindores Abbey distillery in nearby Fife.
